Requisite files for archiving models
Requisite files for archiving models
If you do not mind re-running the analysis to access the results, only certain files need to be archived as a back-up of model data (an alternative would be to backup all input and analysis files in the model directory, which will make the results immediately available after opening the model, but will require additional disk space). Depending on the software, these requisite files include:
- SAP2000: .SDB, .SBK, .$2K
- ETABS: .EDB, .EBK, .$ET
- SAFE: .FDB, .FBK, .$SF
- PERFORM-3D: data files are stored in a user-defined folder. The requisite files necessary to access the model and its data are shown in Figure 1. The folder named DynaAnalysis may be deleted.
