To avoid having to run analysis to review results, certain files should be archived as a back-up to model data. Depending on the software, these requisite files include:
- SAP2000: .SDB, .SBK, .$2K
- ETABS: .EDB, .EBK, .$ET
- SAFE: .FDB, .FBK, .$SF
- PERFORM-3D: data files are stored in a user-defined folder. The requisite files necessary to access the model and its data are shown in Figure 1. The folder named DynaAnalysis may be deleted.
