Angle Valve/PSV

Draw or Insert pipe with "Auto Add Elbows" set to "No" as shown below left. We draw the angle valve using 2 custom defined valves. Assuming that the model was created starting at the bottom (flow/model direction is displayed with orange colored arrow) we use the Draw Valve icon by clicking the angle point after setting our Valve Property and Object Offset Reference Point to "Start Point" as shown below center. Next, use Draw valve and click the same angle point, but change Object offset reference point to "End Point" as shown below right.

Use the same modeling technique to draw or insert valves at any angle. CSiPlant keeps track of the local axis of the piping. 

Define>Component>Valve and click "Add New" button to enter user defined custom valve properties. Be sure to adjust NPS to match your pipe size.
