Modeling Reducing Elbows

After defining pipe property sets with different diameters, use Draw or Insert commands to add pipe to the reducing elbow TIP. In this example, we draw a segment of pipe using a 14"STD pipe property set, and then switch to a 10"STD pipe property set. You may need to adjust elbow radius using the 'Custom' option shown below right.
14" X 10" reducing elbow. CSiPlant treats reducers and reducing elbows as nonprismatic tapered elements, which is more realistic as compared to analyzing it using an averaged section property.
