Deformed shape for moving load analysis
Deformed shape for moving load analysis
Influence-based moving load analysis provides multi-valued results (min and max response quantity for each deflection) that can be obtained from the output tables. The deformed shape is however drawn based on the response quantity (min or max) whose absolute value governs and thus may not always have an corresponding physical meaning, as the displacements for two adjacent joints can be plotted in opposite directions. To review both the minimum and maximum deflections, the tabular output should be checked.
