Effect of longitudinal steel on concrete stiffness
Longitudinal steel does not contribute to the stiffness of reinforced-concrete frame objects, though it does contribute to sources which follow:
- Cross-section design using the parameters available through the Design menu.
- Fiber-hinge response when inelastic material behavior is specified.
- Moment-curvature relationships obtained through the Section Designer.
NOTE: To change the elastic stiffness of reinforced-concrete frame sections, property modifiers are available.
