Effect of longitudinal steel on concrete stiffness

Effect of longitudinal steel on concrete stiffness

Longitudinal steel does not contribute to the stiffness of reinforced-concrete frame objects, though it does contribute to sources which follow:

  • Cross-section design using the parameters available through the Design menu.

NOTE: To change the elastic stiffness of reinforced-concrete frame sections, property modifiers are available.
