How do I resolve the “Unable to complete operation Show Tables!” error?

Extended Question: When I try to execute a table display, I receive this error. How is this resolved?

Answer: This issue may be resolved through the following process:

  1. Search within the C:\Windows folder for files which have the *.tb2 extension.

  2. If present, delete these *.tb2 files.

  3. Start ETABS, create a new model using any template, then select Options > Reset Toolbars.

  4. Open the original model and execute the necessary tables.


Why am I receiving Runtime Error 6 Overflow?

Answer: When importing a model into ETABS, ensure that the original model is located near the origin (0,0,0).
