Units

CSiPlant offers standard sets of units for U.S. Customary, Metric SI, and Metric MKS which can be modified on the fly at any time. No matter what the current units, users can append input fields with mm, m, N, “, ‘, psi, and other designations to input in desired units which automatically converts to current units. Other CSI software products offer similar options to append input fields.

Architectural units in CSiPlant can be input using calculator format. For example, type 8’+3” to input 8’3”

Units can be changed using the options in the bottom right hand portion of the screen as shown below. Many dialogues and result tables also offer options to modify units.
