Solver tips

  • The Standard Solver can only utilize a single core/CPU, while Advanced and Multi-threaded solvers can utilize all cores/CPUs.
  • When run on a 32-bit OS, the SAP2000 analysis engine can utilize up to a maximum of 4GB of RAM. With a 64-bit operating system, the SAPFire ® Analytical Engine can utilize more than 4GB of RAM, making it possible to solve larger problems more efficiently.
