As of V12, the bridge modeler capabilities for the analysis and design of horizontally curved bridges include the following:
- Parametric definition of bridge geometry - the finite element model is created by the program based on the parametric definition.
- Calculation of internal forces (moments, shears, axial) action on individual girders and the entire bridge deck section (construction stage effects can be included).
- Design check for concrete box bridges based on AASHTO STD 2002 and AASHTO LRFD 2007. The design checks include the following: concrete box flexural stress check, concrete box shear check, concrete box flexure check and concrete box principal stress check.
