The Sentinel RMS License Manager may be installed on one or more computers to establish and coordinate a network such that multiple computers may share

Software licenses. The license server has access to license codes. When a networked computer opens and runs a shared software, it obtains a license from the license server, which then coordinates sharing within the network. The Sentinel RMS License Manager will install to the following location:

• C:\Program Files\Common Files\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel RMS License Manager

Sentinel RMS License Manager 8.5

The latest version of the Sentinel RMS License Manager is 8.5. This version can serve all

Software network licenses except those generated using RMS version 7.2. Sentinel RMS 8.5 and associated Utilities are required for networking CSiXRevit 2013 licenses.

• Virtual Servers

  
  To establish a virtual server, network licenses should be generated using Sentinel RMS 8.5.

Sentinel RMS License Manager 7

CSiCOL licenses can only run on the Sentinel RMS 7 License Manager.

CSI Software and associated versions licensed using LM v7 are listed as follows:

• SAP2000 – v8 / v9 / v10

• ETABS – v8 / v9 (v9 is LM7, v9.5 is LM8)

• SAFE – v7 / v8

• Perform-3D – v4

• CSiCol – v8

• Section Builder – v8
