Export to FrameWorks

Export to Frame Works Plus format is only available if the model was originally created by importing a Frame Works Plus file. If you originally created a model in SAP2000, it cannot be exported as a Frame Works Plus file. (This is due to unique element mapping and numbering utilized by FrameWorks.)

Export to PEFORM

SAP2000 exports the element model to Perform-3D. Given this, the menu commands are grayed-out if the element model is not available. To activate this command, you can either run the analysis whereby the element model will be created or, alternatively, force the program to create the element model by checking the box for this under "View > Set Display Options...".
