Parallel processing for multiple cores / CPUs

Multiple cores are used when factoring the stiffness matrix and when solving for load vectors. These operations occur during the following analyses:

• Linear-static

• Nonlinear-static

• Eigen and Ritz

• Direct-integration time-history

• Influence-based

• Moving-load analysis (added for CSiBridge V17 and SAP2000 V17)

A single core is used during modal time-history analysis.

Future CSI  Software releases will offer additional parallel processing capabilities for various software applications.
