End-of-Support (EOS) / End-of-Life (EOL)

End-of-support (EOS), also known as end-of-life (EOL) Each software release will be supported for five years from the date of that release, whether a major- or minor-version release. Technical support is only provided to users with an active maintenance contract. Licensing support is provided to all Cloud Sign-in and Cloud Key licensees. Standalone and network licenses are no longer supported. More information and details about this can be found here: Legacy Standalone and Network License Migration to Cloud Sign-in License CSI cannot be responsible for changes to, or obsolescence of, operating systems and computers as they may affect the behavior of older releases and their licensing. Users are encouraged to use the latest release in order to take advantage of new features, fixes, and improvements. 

Each current CSI software product is continuously updated from one major version to the next (e.g, from v19 to v20). Once a new major version is released, no further updates will be made to the previous major or minor version. Users with an active maintenance contract can upgrade to a new major version at no cost, and hence continue to receive updates to the product. Users without an active maintenance contract can pay an upgrade fee to receive the new updates. 

Per the definition above, the following product versions are no longer supported as of February 2026: 

  • CSiBridge v22 and earlier versions

  • CSiCol v9 and earlier versions

  • ETABS v18 and earlier versions

  • Perform3D v7 and earlier versions

  • SAFE 2016 (v16) and earlier versions

  • SAP2000 v22 and earlier versions

Any customer with current maintenance can upgrade to the latest version through the Customer Center

Please note as of October 1, 2024, USB keys are no longer supported. Neither new keys nor replacements will be issued, and licensing technical support is no longer provided.

As of July 1, 2025, only Cloud Sign-In Licensing is available for all new releases of CSI software products. All other forms of licensing (standalone, network and cloud key) have been discontinued.  Learn more
