There are two formulas for live load reduction factors in NBCC95 (4.1.6.9), namely "0.5 + SQRT (20/A) for LL = 4.8 KPa or above", and "0.3 + SQRT (9.8/B) for LL < 4.8 KPa". When ETABS is considering RLLF for NBCC95, does it consider both formulas based on the floor surface live loads?

The occupancy type is not known in ETABS model. Therefore, program is using 0.3 + SQRT (9.8/B) for computing the reduced live load factor (RLLF). Any load which is defined as Reducible Live load type in Define > Load Case menu will be reduce by the program. The load which is not being reduced can be applied as Live type only.
