CSiLoadOptimizer is a tool available to SAP2000 and CSiBridge for determining an optimal set of loads, including cable tensioning, to achieve specified goals in a structural model.
The loads to be optimized can be applied in any static load case, which can be of type linear, nonlinear, or staged-construction. The goals are specified a s the values to be attained for response
quantities such as joint displacements, generalized displacements, joint reactions, member forces or moments, and/or bridge superstructure forces and moments (CSiBridge only).

The optimization operation consists of determining the scale factors of variable loads in the static load case linear to best meet these goals.
