Starting with product releases for SAP2000 v18, CSiBridge 2016, ETABS 2016, SAFE 2016 and later, users must install Sentinel RMS License Manager v8.6 (or later) to host these licenses.

If you currently have License Manager v8.5 (or earlier to v8.0), the CSI Installation Wizard will prompt you to manually uninstall your current License Manager version before it proceeds to install License Manager v8.6.

Guidelines for using WlmAdmin.exe to directly add a license file to the license manager are as follows:

Launch WlmAdmin.exe, located either in the program installation directory, its "License Manager" subdirectory or its "CSiLicensing" subdirectory (depending on the version of the program).

Expand the Subnet Servers entry in the left column.

Right-click on the server to which the license file will be added, then select Add Feature > From a File > To Server and its File (Figure 1).

Browse to locate the license file which is to be added to the server.

Important notes

If you do not see the license server in the Subnet servers, you can add the license server manually via "Edit > Defined Server List".
