We will extend the expansion load in the Y direction. Although there are several select options that you’ll want to become familiar with, in this example we window select the area we want to work with by holding down the left mouse key and dragging the mouse from left to right in order to select the area of the expansion loop shown below right.

         

Next, on your keyboard hold down the Ctrl key and type the letter M to invoke the ‘Move selected object’ dialogue as shown below. In this example we type 5 feet in the Y direction and press Apply or OK button to extend the loop as shown below right.

         

Here we use a mix of left mouse click select and window select to select the objects shown below left. Here we use Ctrl + M and type 4 feet in the X direction as shown to widen the loop 4 feet.

    

Here we use select options to select a portion of the branch lines coming off the header as shown below left. Use Ctrl + M and type -4 feet in Y direction to modify as shown.
