It is possible to change default units of a model as follows (although the instruction below are specifically for SAP2000, the general approach applies to other CSI programs as well):

  • Set the desired units in the drop down list located in the bottom right corner of the application Window.
  • Export the model as text file using "File > Export > SAP2000 .s2k Text File" menu command.
  • Import the exported text file via "File > Import > SAP2000 .s2k Text File".
