For large or highly discretized models, the influence-based analysis can be very time consuming. You can use the following tips to reduce the computational time, which may be useful especially for preliminary or conceptual design:

• Reduce the number of elements for which response is computed by using "Define > Bridge Loads > Bridge Responses" or "Bridge > Bridge Response" menu command by specifying smaller groups than ALL. Please see the "Moving Load Case Results Saved" form below.

• Use a coarser lane discretization.

• You could also use quick method of response calculation for moving load analysis. This method is described in
