It is possible that sometimes the model file in binary format may get corrupted due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. network congestion/connectivity issues when saving the model to a network location, interference by a file indexing or anti-virus software, etc). You can attempt to recover the file by either opening the model backup file in binary format (file with SBK extension created automatically by the program) or by importing the model backup file in text format (file with $2K extension created automatically by the program). These two files are available at the same location where you saved the SDB file and should have all changes made to the model up to the point where the model was last saved successfully.
