You can use the File menu > Import > Stru*3D File command to import structural analysis models created using StruCAD*3D (or ZenScad) into SAP2000. StruCAD*3D Version 4.3 files currently are handled. Models from other versions also should import, although this has not been tested thoroughly.
Because StruCAD*3D and SAP2000 have different FEM libraries and different analytical capabilities, not all StruCAD*3D data can be imported. See the StruCAD*3D/ZenScad Import Manual in the Manuals folder for additional details on capabilities and limitations..
1. Click the File menu > Import > StruCAD*3D File command to display the Select StruCAD*3D File Import form. Use that form to specify the path and filename of the data file to be imported.
2. Click the OK button to complete the import.
