I am getting "No node or frame was present in CIS/2 file." message when importing CIS/2 file into SAP2000. How can I resolve this issue?
When SAP2000 shows a warning that no nodes are present in the CIS/2 file then its mean only non-analytical entities are present and these entities cannot be imported for structural analysis. These non-analytical entities may have geometry representation and can be viewed by VRML viewer but they are not suitable for structural analysis and cannot be mapped easily with SAP2000 objects.
