How to perform nonlinear cracked analysis of floor system in ETABS?

Below are the steps how to set up and run floor cracking analysis in ETABS v19 ultimate license level:

4- Define Modulus of Rupture for Cracked Deflections via Define > Material Properties...

5- First set the nonlinear cracked analysis load cases not to run via Analyze > Set Load Cases To Run... and run analysis for the linear load cases that are part of the design load combinations and perform concrete slab design and concrete frame design. Then set the nonlinear cracked analysis load cases not to run via Analyze > Set Load Cases To Run.. . Design must be run at least once before running the nonlinear cracked analysis load cases otherwise minimum rebars will be used.

6- After design is completed and deemed acceptable, go Analyze > Set Load Cases To Run... highlight and run the nonlinear cracked analysis load cases

Note:

In SAFE all cases can be analyzed in one run, there is no need to perform design and run nonlinear cases, the program does design internally and runs the nonlinear cases
