Setting up stepStep-by-step moving-load analysis involves is initiated through the following stepsprocess:
Define
Vehicle (via "vehicle type through Define > Bridge Loads > Vehicles
").
Define
Lane (via "the lane through Define > Bridge Loads > Lanes
").
- Use "
Select Define > Load Pattern
" menu command(Figure 1) to define
Load pattern of type BRIDGE LIVE. Click "the Type of load pattern Bridge Live. Select Modify Bridge Live
Button"Load to define
the parameters for this live load pattern, suchsuch parameters as lanes, vehicles, vehicle speed, movement direction, etc.

A multi-step static load case
that you can review using "is automatically created. This load case may be reviewed through Define > Load Cases
" menu command.
- You can also evaluate dynamic response by changing the load case type from "
Dynamic response may be evaluated when load-case type is changed from Multi-step Static
"to
"Time
History"-history, and
settinganalysis type to
nonlinearNonlinear,
directDirect-integration.
Set the dampingDamping and other parameters may be specified as necessary.
