Convert Existing Licenses to Cloud Sign-in

1 - Sign-in to the CSI Customer Center (https://account.csiamerica.com)  and navigate to Manage Software → Upgrade and Convert Licenses


2 - Select the licenses that you wish to upgrade or convert to use Cloud Sign-in Licensing, then click "Generate Quote".


3 - Click through the Quote Generation and Order Submission process. Once you have converted your licenses, your old licenses will continue to work for 90 days.

 


4 - Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email informing you that your Cloud Sign-in Licenses have been provisioned.

Add / Manage Users through the User Management Dashboard


    1 - Sign In to the CSI Customer Center (https//account.csiamerica.com) and navigate to Settings → User Management Dashboard. 


    2 - You can add users one at a time using the "+ Add New User" button.  Choose a role that has the Cloud Sign-in Software Access permission.

The following "Template" roles have the Software Access permission:

Administrator
Sales & Technical Support (Basic)
Technical Support - Advanced
Technical Support - Basic
License & Software Management (Advanced)


Alternatively, you can import users in bulk, by:

1. Export a Microsoft Excel template of your existing users, then add additional users to as new rows  

2. Importing the users.

    - Highlight Sign-in Software Access Permission
    - Show License Group tab 
        - mention that its only available once the Sign-in License have been provisioned
    - Add one contacts thru the add new user button w software access
    - Add one contact thru the add new user button without software access
    - Add multiple contacts by using the export/import functionality
    - Add at least one concact that has a role that doesnt have software access to show the orange triangle on the license group list.
    


Download and Install CSI Software


    - Once you recieve licenes provisioned email, navigate to customer center -> manage software -> downloads (also linked to in the email you receive).
    - download cloud sign in installation.
    - run installer.
    - Show screen to select Cloud Sign-in License Mode
    - Mention that this can be changed later thru the CSI License Assistant


Run CSI Software


    - Show Login Screen
    - Once application starts show Help -> License Information form
    - Highlight Asset ID


Manage Cloud Sign-in Licenses 

    - While applcation is running, open CSI Customer Center -> Cloud License monitor
    - Highlight same asset is listed in the CLM
    - Show that you can terminate the session 
        - users can terminate their own sessions 
            - useful if you left the applciatoin running on a computer that you are not sitting in front of anymore.
        - if user has Terminate Sessions permission, they can terminate other sessions
        - Terminates sessions will prompt user to save work before closing
