How are moving loads redistributed from lanes to frame objects?

Each lane is discretized according to its geometry and the plan-view intersection between layout lines and structural objects. The lane influence line, or surface, is then interpolated from the set of lane-load points created from the discretization. The moving loads applied to the lane are distributed to lane-load points according to tributary area, then redistributed, through lane-to-object connections, to the joints of frame objects.

Please see the Lane discretization, Lane-load point, and Lane-to-object connection articles for additional information.
