h1. Troubleshooting

* To troubleshoot [licensing|kb:Licensing] problems, you may find it useful to review the License Manager Log File, given as CSI_SentinelLM.log in the [application data directory|kb:File format and settings files].software-monetization/sentinel-rms/] by SafeNet, Inc. to license its software. The following two licensing methods are currently available:

* [conventional licensing|kb:Conventional licensing]
* [web-activated licensing|kb:Web-activated licensing]

For a given CSI product, you will need to use *{_}either{_}* conventional licensing *{_}or{_}* web-activated licensing, based on the below table:

|| Conventional Licensing \\ || Web-activated licensing ||
| SAP2000 \\
CSiBridge \\
ETABS \\
CSICol \\
SAFE \\
CSiXRevit 2012 and earlier \\ | CSiXRevit 2013 \\ |

For the upcoming releases of CSI products, the conventional licensing method will be gradually phased out in favor of the web-activated licensing method. Below is a list of articles that provide additional information and comprehensive details for each licensing method:
