It is possible to change default units of a model as follows (although the instruction below are specifically for SAP2000, the general approach applies to other CSI programs as well):

* Specify the units desired in the drop-down list located in the bottom right corner of the interface.
* [Export|kb:Export] the model as a text file by selecting File > Export > SAP2000 .s2k Text File.
* [Import|kb:Import] the exported text file by selecting File > Import > SAP2000 .s2k Text File.
