Volume-less objects assigned to a model, such as area springs at structural supports, effect only the analytical model, and will not be shown in object model views (undeformed configuration). To *display* these objects in *model views*, check the ‘Show Analysis Model’ option under the ‘View’ > ‘Set Display Options’ menu, as shown in Figure 1:

Conversely, these objects will be displayed in analytical model views. To modify objects displayed in these views, check or uncheck the appropriate options in the ‘View’ > ‘Set Display Options’ menu. For example, to remove area springs (a type of link object) from stress diagrams, check the ‘Not in View’ option, as shown in Figure 2:
