{live-template:Test Problem} \\ {on-this-page} h1. Overview *Note: SomeThe ofmodel theattached featurescontains describedfour onseparate thisstructures, pagesshown were implementedbelow in V14Figures of1 the program.* This attached model contains the following four separate structures (please see the screenshot below)and 2, and listed as follows: * 1 2-span bridge structure created using the [bridge modeler|kb:Bridge modeler] * 1 2-span bridge structure created usingmanually manual modeling * 2 1-span bridge structure created using the bridge modeler * 2 1-span bridge structure created usingmanually manual modeling\\ All four structures have the following properties: * eachEach span length is 10m. * Concrete deck section is a concrete deck sectionsections are 0.5m deep and 3m wide. * theSimply-supported structuresconditions are simply supported at each abutment and [bent|kb:Bridge bent]. * StraightA 25mmstraight dia tendon is defined to run along the entire length of the structures. The tendon is[tendon|kb:Tendon], 25mm in diameter, runs along each length. Tendons are prestressed to 10kN (without losses) and located 0.05m from the bottom of theeach section. and\\ a prestressingThe forcepurpose of 10kNthis with no losses was applied to the tendon. Goals of this modelmodel is to: * Determine and review moments and other internal forces resulting from prestressing. * Verify the prestressing forces used for flexural design check. * Compare [frame-element|kb:Frame] forces to the prestressing forces, obtainedfound through fromthe "Display > Show Bridge Forces/Stresses" form with forces obtained from frame elements menu. * Define a section cut cuttingthrough throughthe tendon and frame, getreview forces, and compare them with forces obtainedthose from frame and tendon elements at the same location. h1. Model Screenshots screenshots Flexural response is depicted in Figures 1 and 2: \\ !figure 2.png|align=center,border=0! {center-text}Figure 1 - Frame momentMoment diagram, 2-span bridge with tendonstendon{center-text} \\ !figure 3.png|align=center,border=0! {center-text}Figure 2 - Frame momentMoment diagram, 1-span bridge with tendonstendon{center-text} \\ Section cuts reveal that individual element forces closely correlate with those induced by prestressing. h1.
