Floors with different thickness and load conditions can be modeled in SAFE easily. In general it is recommended to use a base slab covering the entire floor. Localized thicker or thinner slabs can be modeled by drawing a slab with the increased different  thickness over the thinner base slab as required. The program will automatically consider the smaller (contained area) slab properties for the overlapped area (this applies to every type of area element except drop which always takes precedence). Localized parts of the floor with different loads can also be modeled simply by using slabs with NONE properties over the partial floor. Once the area have been drawn the additional (+ if increases, - if decreases) load should be applied to the NONE area via Assign>Load data.
